that would be Collin! He went off to hang out with friends before I could remind him again. Ah well. We had fun anyway, just the 4 of us. John brought a lot of new games, once he woke up and Lucas went to get him that is.... heh heh heh. So flake # 2. And I was semi flakey because I never got out of my pjs. But I think you are allowed to do that when it's in your house. I did change my shirt though.... thus semi flakey. Anyhoo.
Things are settling down with perro loco. Except now G is talking to me and turns out Brando got into the bedroom and chewed up the slippers and one of my pillows! BAD DOGGY! Just when you think he's getting better.... Although he hasn't pooped inside for quite a while.... We'll see... he can be such a sweetie... I guess he's still a puppy, but he knows for sure when he's been bad. grrrrrrrrrr.
Celeste is gone, I've got the art show on my shoulders now... eep. Whatever happens it's going to be just fine I'm sure. Oh man, I have to check if I still have time to write an article for the Weekly Reader, and I can submit it to the Ledger as well I bet. I hope Carolyn will be a good help for it. This Friday. Damn. Well, then it will be over. So there. phew. and then only a few more weeks of SELP, and then off to Colombia, and then maybe apartment hunting? And getting ready for Erin's wedding? Is going to Spain even a possibility? I was checking out tickets, and it seemed like at first glance I could get over to that area for about $485! That doesn't seem like much to get to Europe... But then there is the whole living and eating and ground transportation aspect of it... le sigh.
We went bowling last night for Tommy's birthday (the 21st, but we went last night) It was fun, and I got better for the second round, but the smoke really got to me pretty quickly. If I hadn't bought a bottle of water and kept sipping it I would have gotten really blah. they have these little animations for when you miss, or strike or split or whatever. Some of the miss ones are pretty degrading in a way... sad. And you know someone put a lot of time into making them. Ah well. It was super rainy on the way there, and my car was making scary noises... And then on the way home we stopped in Agency for gas and my car wouldn't start back up!!!! I was really upset, and my dad hadn't brought his cell phone with him, so we had to wait all the way till he got home before he got the message. :( But he came out and gave me a jump. I'm glad that's all it was, and it started fine this morning to come home. New batteries apparently aren't all that expensive, but I still would rather not get one unless I need it. I didn't understand what it was exactly, since we were able to start the car in Ottumwa and drive it all the way to Agency. Dad was saying something about using all the windshield wipers and radio and heater at the same time if the battery was weak and only driving a few minutes it might not have enough time to charge it all back again... hrm. anyhoo. We made it home. I should bring it in anyway for the fluttery sound it makes when I go over 45mph.... And G put on my new wheel cover! I discovered I don't have hubcaps really, but wheel covers.... Jeffrey tried to help with the first one but he kicked it so hard it cracked! oops! Luckily I had 4, and only needed 1. So now I have 2 spares. and my car looks all nice and shiny again. wheee! And my boxes are all packed up and addressed to send out tomorrow. There are still a few more people I would love to send to, but if I don't it'll be ok. I got the main ones covered...
Sarah sent me some fun new CD's, and a spill guard for my nalgene. Woot. I always spill water on myself! I'm listening to the Amelie soundtrack right now.
