time to do stuff

yeah. all sorts of good recommendations from the doctor. Classic Kapha depression. Oh joy. Muchly involves getting up off my ass and DOING things, but I really need to be in a class or have a buddy to follow through. so yeah.

ArtWalk was nice last night. Nothing major special. (where was the ArtWalk song?) I really liked the shields from FHS, and their little descriptions as well. Sorta what I wanted for the COY show, so good it happened now! I started a good thing! Had a good conversation with Jewel, she showed me her recent sketches from her life drawing class, and shared how her life has sort of unfolded in a neat way over all, but coming out of a funk herself.

Labaghs should be home. Hope they had a good time. It was nice to have a place to be with G, I'll be sad to not have that for a while... grr. I was hoping to start looking at apartments soon, but with all these tests I'm supposed to take... bye-bye mre money I don't have... sob...

Went to Colin Siemsen's 1st birthday party today. He is such a cutie! I guess his actual birthday is on Monday. So many other cute little ones running around too. Most of the Riegel clan was in from Colorado, they're all soo big! It's crazy. The new house is really nice too, and I think they are pretty happy with it. def. plenty of room for expanding and projects and more kids. What a deal! Noah's birthday party too sorta, (he'll be in China for his actual one) and he got a book on how to make a kid's outdoor playset, and 2 books on home repairs. I guess he asked for it, and got it from both people! :D

I hope my catering thing went over well with mom's group. I just wish I knew if it was going to happen for tomorrow now, so I could get started if it is... It took me more than 3 hours for sure... But more fun than computer work. sigh. oh, and I'll make a few bucks with Delores on Monday night too, good deal....... I just don't think I could take on catering full time... argh....

my dad suggested a bunch of career books and I got some from the library. yay free-ness. guess I oughta take a look see. Must do something to get out of the stuckness feeling......
