From a letter to the girls, must have written it on Wednesday....
Had a hectic day back to "real life" yesterday....
emergency with ArtWalk brochure, blow-ups with my dad
and even a little with G, and realized that a big part
of what was actually going on was that I was VERY
heartbroken about how we planned for a whole year to
get together and then I felt like so many things I
wanted to happen did not happen, and I'd lugged this
whole suitcase full of things to share and didn't even
get to share half of them...
The wedding was beautiful and gorgeous and perfect,
but as far as good ole girl time I did NOT get enough.
It felt like pieces of my heart was driving away in
each car that left. and it was sooo terrible to pack
up in a panic (we found out at 1:15 that we were
supposed to have been out at 12...) and check and
double check all the drawers and shelves and blankets
and find little things you left behind. (I'll send a
detailed list of what I have later)
waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh. Ditto to what Soma
said about the hotel the day after, and the goodnesss
of getting to spend time with the Aussies and
Smiths/Weitzmons.
It is good to read other peoples emails and see the
brighter side of things - it is true, I absolutely
loved getting to know the boys better, all of them!
Many thanks!

Tomorrow will be the 3rd year anniversary from G and I's first date. Whoa.... that's a long time, and yet no time at all. Madness. We went out to lunch at Azteca yesterday, I guess that was the anniversary of our first dance, the night he asked me to go to the movies with him. It still kinda baffles me, we had no idea what we were doing or getting ourselves into, but it was all so innocent and felt so right, and now here we are and it's still amazing. We've got ups and downs and craziness, but I'd rather do it with him than anyone else. And we always manage to come out on top within a pretty short amount of time I think, especially once we identify what is actually going on. Wow. We win!
