Busy afternoon and evening

Vegged out for the morning. But since a little past noon today I did:

Celeste's B-day party: Fun fun. Colin recognized me as soon as I walked in the door "Heather!" but then ran to his mom. It must be confusing to have all your babysitters come over at once - maybe mom is going away for a LONG time? heh heh. Finally got to see an iPod Nano "in the flesh". yum tiny and light! :O Got to hang out with Jenna and Mosie which was cool cuz I so rarely get to see them. Plus between Mosie and Libbet asking questions I got to find out a lot about what is going on for people. phew! Stayed there till almost dinner time!

Dinner with work people: tasty, but stuffed myself silly. was already full from the party. had another Michaela cosmo, she does them good for me, although it's not so bad to not drink cuz J can't, but whatever. participated in the conversation, hah! regretting quite so much garlic...

Play at Spayde: still digesting it. Trying to figure out how I would like it if I had never seen or been in like 90% of Rodney's shows in the last like what, 15 years or so? (OMG... I'm old) Right now I'm feeling like I ate leftovers. Really good ones, of tasty stuff I liked. And some of them got dressed up so they looked new, but really it was the same food from all the meals the past week... Tons of brilliant moments, and talented people I love watching. I hope it does well.

Special Features of Life Aquatic: Kind of weird, since I watched the movie maybe a month or more ago.

Finished the other baby bootie: Except it's longer than the first one. Damn. I lost count of the rows and overdid it. Not too sure what to do about that... boogers. They don't take that long to make, but I have other stuff I need to be doing.

Told my bro (he did lights at the show) about the new pizza stone and how we should make pizza, since I have the stone and he knows how to make dough! yum! He's applying for his passport so he can come to Colombia with us.

G GOT HIS TRAVEL PERMIT! hooray! We're really going! wowzers. I didn't let myself think about going for reals till we knew he was really going to get it, cuz no point in getting our hopes up if we weren't going to be able to go. Got so burned by his parents not being able to come up here for the wedding... sigh.
