Thanksgiving!

So. Full.

Made the cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes and salad for our lunch. My potato peeler is really sharp :( my finger hurts :( Hope I cane still play guitar, need to practice up. But I used the french fry slicer to cut them up, that was fast! :)

Finished lunch just in time to dash to RENT. It was good. They cut out a lot of the chorus stuff and I missed the harmonies and stuff from that. A few little other changes, but pretty true to the play. It was cool to see them wearing the same costumes for New Years. And the metal table in the guys loft - they had three of them in the play. It's funny, for Harry Potter, I only read the books once each, when they came out, so by the time I see the movie I don't really know what they changed and stuff. But seeing RENT twice and having the CD almost permanently in my player for so long, I knew it backwards and forwards, and the changes were easy to spot.

Had pie at Dad's and met his new cat. My dad with a cat, go figure! I guess between his allergy medicine (herbs?) and the cat wash/lotion stuff that you put on cat fur (it's all safe and natural like - Petal Cleanse?) he can handle it now. no cats growing up, oh well. He's a pretty all grey thing and they've been calling him Donovan. cute.

hrm. Are they playing South Park on Fox now? That's interesting!
