We got our first box of CSA veggies today, and I am SO excited!!! It seems a bit like there's more than we'll know what to do with in a week, but I'm sure we'll figure it out! I already had a salad for lunch and dinner. :)
Dinner was fun, we had my brothers over and we made pizza and watched LOST - omg that show is freakin' brilliant and wild and scary and bizzaro. WHOAZERS! watch it for yourself, no spoilers here.
Anyway, next time we do pizza we should start earlier, because we didn't really factor in the whole "wait for an hour for the dough to rise" thing... so we ate a lot of chips while we were waiting. But the pizzas turned out good, my baking stone works well, and we had fun hanging out, so yay.
No new mousies, but I put some pizza bones in the live traps, so we'll see if they like that.
OH! and one more totally exciting thing, my CC balance is very nearly gone!! I can probably finish it in just one or two more paychecks!! That's like by the end of the month!! We put most of the tax refund towards it, and that took a huge bite out! What a relief! and imagine the things I can do with that much money every month when I'm finished? Well, student loan is next, but that feels do-able now! The hard work and money discipline is paying off, literally! phew!
