Whoa

The schedule was to eat lunch and get our nails done, but I didn't realize what a high class area we were going to! We had lunch at a Mexican place and I got a jicama salad that came out looking like a Jenga tower!! I'll try to remember to post a picture of it when I get home. The we went to a VERY fancy spa - bathrobes, fruit, lemonade, couches sauna, hot tub, showers, even a shaving station and a whole area to do your hair complete with dryers, curling and straightening irons, hair ties and pins. We didn't have time to use all the stuff, but man was the nail appointment AMAZING! Lots of creams and oils and salt scrubs, a paraffin dip and arm & foot massages. Plus huge massage chairs, heated towels and weighted, scented eye masks. I got red on my fingers to match the dress and purple on my toes cuz I'm wearing closed toe shoes and my lady encouraged me to have fun because it would last longer.

Then we met up with the groom's attendants and chatted a bit before driving over to the rehearsal. As has happened to me most of that day - we got right within a few blocks of the place and got lost. Which is pretty frustrating because we'd have been there completely on time, but often missing a turn is not like it FF where you can just go down a block and cross back to where you were. But anyway, we got there and it was beautiful, I can't wait to see it in daylight. Then the bride & groom & attendants went to an amazing little thai restaurant and had a super delicious dinner. Got just the tiniest bit lost on the way back home, but alls well that ends well and as I said, I was getting just as much driving rehearsal as ceremony rehearsal!
