The Start of Dar walked through my door...

Saw Andrew Calhoun last night at Paradiso. Not my favoritest ever, but it was good to get out. Some really neat songs, and neat old celtic and scottish ballads, but also just not the style that really lights my candle. Probably also good that I wasn't that jazzed about it, because I really can't afford another CD at the moment. I thought, and discovered I was right on his website, that Waterbug was where Dar Williams got her start, and he started that! so jolly good! entirely redeemed! I might have enjoyed it a bit more if I was paying more attention, but I was having fun drawing...

I saw that lady Catherine I met at another Paradiso concert. She has a job at the Raj Restaurant now that she says keeps her busy. We both drew pretty things. I brought one of my actual journals and some glitter pens, because I wanted to be able to bring it home afterwards. It was neat, she saw a barrette in some other lady's hair, and it reminded her of a fan, and she drew this kind of fan purse, and that reminded me of fans so I tried to draw one, and fans reminded me of the Mikado, so I drew a neat Japanese lady in a kimono all in silver, but just her lips were red. I was quite pleased with that! :D
