Oh yeah, we opened...

Like a while ago I guess! woof. Life has been a speeding train lately. It went really well, audiences have been pretty good for every show so far. I just hope we don't hold over. I'd much rather go to my company Christmas party. yay! heh heh. times have changed. le sigh.

We moved our offices out to "The Golden Gate" aka Primus aka the Telegroup building. It's a bit weird getting adjusted to it. Seems very much more "office-y" somehow, and a lot more transparent as far as the goings on of everybody, despite the fact we have more cubicles set up than in the old office. Plus being a bit farther out of town shaves just that much more off of your day. I know it's nothing compared to other people's commutes, but sometimes on a long commute you can actually do stuff like listen to books on tape or whatever... blah blah blah, poor me eh?

We had a company art give-away on Friday, where we could all take what we wanted from thier returns/rejects/slightly damaged framed art, plus prints. It was madness, but I got some good stuff. No room for it in my apartment. :P

Which is a DISASTER by the way. I haven't had anyone over to clean for in ages, and I've had my craft stuff out non-stop, trying to build up my inventory for the craft fair I'm going to be in this December. I really hate it. I also hate the looks I get from G over it. ugh. I know it's bad, I don't need anymore reminders of it!! I really need a studio or something. I need more space. I was so happy to have my own place, but it's filling up fast.

Did a big clean up yesterday at my mom's. Pretty much got under the table cleaned out. Ended up bringing even MORE to my apartment. blah. My mom is happy though. Not too shabby looking. There is still a ton I could do in the way of organizing/getting rid of stuff, but it's definitely closer to guest room status now. So that's good.

Oh, here's an email I meant to post, a lot of the same stuff, but too tired to edit:

It's Friday!

Sorry if I've been quiet lately, I was swamped with the opening of the play (which went really well!) and the move of our office to the Telegroup/Primus building, plus my mom came home so I haven't had the convienience of a computer in close proximity for my evenings, and I've really needed to just veg and stay home and connect back to my apartment. Plus I am getting ready to be in a Holiday craft fair in December, so I am trying to make a bunch of items to sell. I want to have more than the price of the table at least, and hopefully a LOT more!!!

I'm still at work, signed out, but I'm feeling theitch to get out of the building. It's a bit of an adjustment being in the new space, and a farther commute. I KNOW, I can't say ANYTHING really. But proportionally, going from 5 blocks away to 5 minutes away really makes a difference in my schedule... Plus we are all set up in little cubicles, and in the old office I could see a lot more people because I didn't have one. I feel like God is going to start playing Whack-a-Mole on us when we all start popping up to talk to each other over these funny fabric walls. :D

No performance tonight, our pianist is playing for aCivic Center benefit, so a lot of us are going to seethat instead. I'm glad I did this play, but it's atotally different experience to do it now than in High School. A lot of the charm has worn off! I think I may have to be more selective of parts that I may take in the future to make sure it is worth my while, and I think I really want to focus more on music. Want to get behind the open mic and fire it up again...

Well, off to uh, do stuff I guess. Oh yeah, laundry! rats.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SARAH!!!!
