so today was a day of utter laziness. ew. basically sat around all day watching TV and/or movies. I was/am pretty sore. Need to do enough yoga that it doesn't make me sore to do it, the way it used to be...
I DID take a shower, and I DID walk with Jennie to get Vanity Fair, which is a rather weird movie. Felt like they tried to condense a book and left out a lot. Which I think is probably the reality actually. Reese is cute as ever, and it's a bit diff from what she usually does, but yeah. Also watched Ray, with the extra scene cut in, which was a bit weird because that made it jump around a bit, and made it REALLY long. It was a good movie, but part of me felt like it was a big ole "Don't do drugs" ad, so that took away from it a little. yuck. drugs are bad. they mess up your life. don't do them.
We did do the dishes. We tried to set up my printer but it doesn't come with a USB cable, so no dice for tonight. Bummer. NOT a very productive day. I guess everyone is entitled every once in a while, but it feels so wasted. So many things I could/should have done. Can't beat myself up about it, just a good reminder to get moving next time...
Oh, ok, here's something I did, I opened up iWorks and used Keynote to make a little semi animated cartoon strip called Fun Times with Goober & Peet. Two episodes! I'm not really sure how I can share it with anyone besides on my computer, because I think they need Keynote to see it. Oh well. It's super goofy anyway, but it was fun, and I learned about how to use the program a bit. And I've been saying I want to try something creative for a while, so there you go! It's a start anyway. I think if you try to do a little something every day, that gets the creative juices flowing and makes you more receptive for when something good strikes. Part of why I want to write more here, just to get stuff flowing. Shake it up, move it around.
I hear thunder... time for bed!
