Rescue mission

I was taking a shower one morning and noticed something colorful in the drain. I pried it open to find this little plastic guy bobbling in the water! We rescued him with a plastic spoon, but I am totally curious as to how he got there! Did he belong to the little girl in the back apartment? Did he get pushed through somehow during the water line flushes? In any case, he's safe now, but who knows what lurks in the sewers below?
