Birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(well, ok, the day after now, but yeah, I haven't been to bed yet)

Oh, it's late, and I shouldn't stay up too much longer, but just had to take a few minutes to express my full gratitude to all my beautiful, beautiful, amazing, wonderful, authentic, wise friends and thank you for sharing in my birthday!!!

I've had a really great day and been showered with love from all directions - decorations and donuts at work, lunch with my love, a few minutes with my mom, dinner with friends and an AMAZING cake made for me by someone who couldn't even come, an awesome opening night of a play, and a few more friends over to help finish off the cake after the play. phew! (we even had time to straighten up the place a little bit before they came over, which we'd been wanting to do anyway, grin!)

It was so nice to get so much love, esp when I was feeling so vulnerable the days before. yum!

I played at open mic last night and had the great honor of Soma's sister asking me on Friendster today if she could "borrow" one of my songs she heard! What a compliment!!
