sick again

wtf! seriously.

seems that I've been sick an awful lot these past few months. ugh. this one kept me out of work for 2 and 1/2 days! argh. At least I have the weekend to rest. Except I couldn't friggin sleep last night. Went to bed at 12, woke up at, I dunno, 3:30? G was snoring, couldn't get back to sleep (hey, apparently I snore something awful too, but I never notice it ;) ) so I came out to the couch, but I could still hear him, so I started messing with a GarageBand song, sorta dance beat thingummy. finished off that for the time being and started just surfing and listening to music, and here I am at 7:30am still awake. argh. what's my problem?

I guess this weekend is the David Lynch thing, and 800 some people are here for it. I was supposed to help with the food serving, but no can do if I'm sick. Luckily she has enough people anyway. I'm curious about the thing. we'll see. I may just have to get second hand reports.

Rachel wrote back to me with her recording setup, so that started me on an afternoon and evening of research. the problem is knowing what will give me a decent enough sound for my purposes at the lowest price. Everywhere says you get what you pay for. but do I really NEED that much quality? If I go for less, will I be unhappy with the results and just give up? argh. crumbs. I guess I'll keep looking a bit longer and stew about it...

Oh, and it's been freakin SNOWING lately. meh
