I love lists

Things I want/need to do before going on our anniversary mini-break which is supposed to start in 7 minutes, but probably won't for a couple more hours, considering the state I'm in. In an effort to reach some sort of catharsis, I'm gonna spew it all, from the realistic to the ridiculous:

-Call Jennie and figure out what's up for her birthday

-Based on her response, call Jewel and give her a yea or nea on helping for the concert next week (on Jennie's birthday)

-Water the plants, all of them, inside and out

-Wash the clothes, then towels and sheets, and remake the bed

-File all the freakin' papers taking over our living room floor

-Get a bike odometer and install it on my bike so I can see how fast I ride to work

-Drop off veggies to Dad and April

-Wash the dishes in the sink

-Find something fabulous to wear tonight (yeah, in bed too)

-Make a "2nd Honeymoon Music Mix"

-Call my Grandmother in NC and try to figure something out about the lost Christmas presents.

-Clean the bathroom

-Get a package of stuff ready to send to Anne and send it

-Go back and find the emails from my girls that I haven't replied but wanted to and reply

-Work on the song fragment I got stuck in my head last night, or at the very least record it on GarageBand so I don't forget it

-Pack

-Shave

-Send photos from the wedding to my Godmother

-Finally finish the frickin Thank You notes, not to mention the ones we need to send to the people in Colombia (And mail them all)

-Make G a present or card

-Make a photo journal thing of our trip to Colombia and send it to the Grandparents

-Learn to speak Spanish fluently

-Lose 83 lbs

-Write and record a hit record and tour it around the US and Europe and Australia/New Zealand

-Get a new cool phone that freakin works and takes pictures and stuff

-Clean out the car

-Catch up on all my sleep deprivation

-Do all sorts of health cleanses (like the ones from Dr. Schulze: colon, liver, gallbladder, kidneys, etc.)

-Make the meal for David and Lila I wanted to make for them when Dil was born

-Figure out how to get a replacement dish for the one in our set that chipped, and get it

-Call my Student Loan people and pay off that one damn loan that has like $1.07 left to it and won't go away, so it'll bring it down to only 2 loans left.

-Send Amy the link to our wedding pix in Colombia

-Make sure the camera has batteries

-Wash out the mini fridge and move it back to the garage

-empty the water tray under the big fridge

-Buy snacks/breakfast at Everybody's so we don't have to pay for breakfast at the hotel

Well, I've sorta run out of steam for now, but that's a pretty good start. Luckily I am married to a wonderful man who will still love me even if I can't do all of that before we go, and I think we'll still have fun too.

At least I've got a list I can prioritize for today and work the rest later. I love lists. I find them very comforting.

Oh, and pat on the back for me today, I ate my lunch at the table, no reading/tv/internet. Thumbs up!
