Lucky 7

I keep meaning to write about this, so before I forget and because I'm tired, you're getting my half of a IM when I was telling a friend about it over chat. heh.

it was our 7 year anniversary of our first date
and we were having dinner at Top of the Rock
and one of my friends was there with a guy, and they stopped to say hi on the way out
and as they were leaving, the guy was like "hey, did you say it's your 7 year anniversary? that's good luck, you should buy a lottery ticket!"
"and if you win you can give some to me!"

so after dinner we decided to go to HyVee and get some of those little lotto cards
the pull tab ones and/or scratch off
so we got a couple that were like .25
or a $1
and won a $1
and then G went back to the car and got some quarters
and then I noticed there was a card called "Lucky 7s" and I'm like - dude, we should have been doing that one!
so we got two of those
and we won $37!
so that paid for almost all our dinner :D
