Wowzers, I'm all married and stuff now!

How far out is that? The wedding was beautiful, and the honeymoon was short but great - camping at Lake Wapello for a long weekend. Freakin' hot, but the Labaghs lent us their camper trailer (drove it up and back!) so we had electric fans and with nothing else to do but hang out, and swim and stuff, it really wasn't that bad.

People keep asking me how is married life, and all I can really say is, something inside of me got quieter, something that I didn't even know was loud, but it's really nice! It's also great that G and I are finally allowed to be together, no boundaries or shouldn'ts from the university or anything. Phew! But really, we've been together for 4 years now, so things aren't that much different, but we have a lot of new toys and pretty things to play with!

G and I are in Boulder at the moment, he's been going to a Mars Society conference, and I've been just hanging out. Unfortunately Sarah was out of town this weekend, so I've been on my own, which has been a mixed blessing. I think I'm finally starting to settle into it, but the first few days I was extra cranky! Not how I wanted to be, but I think a combination of tiredness and period and the stress of the city (seems to have gotten bigger since I lived here) all really threw me off. Fit in an awesome yoga class in the place I used to go here, visited nearly all of my old favorite restaurants (uh-oh!) but hopefully balanced that out with window shopping (with a few splurges) all of one afternoon, and a great hike this morning. I also saw a monk working on an intricate sand mandala, and a young street performer juggle a bowling ball, a big sharp knife and a flaming torch, all while balancing on a skateboard that was on top of a big rolling piece of plastic pipe!!! Actually a pretty good trip, but I'm not looking forward to the length of the drive home... although it was fun to see some of the same places I stopped with on the road trip with my girls that was what, 4 years ago now?! Yipezers!

K had the baby! Hooray! His name is Trillium Orian, how cute is that? Only 2 days after the due date and only 24hrs of labor. I say only, cuz it was longer last time!

And on a totally relative material level, my table is coming any day now! Hooray! They left me a message to call them about a delivery time! SO EXCITED! *grin* I just hope that there isn't any bad stuff because they called on Thurs when we were roaming, and when I tried to call from the library, the lady told me she was just the answering service, and they were only open M-F for real calls. So I'll call tomorrow, maybe even from the road somwhere... wha-hoo!

Well, I better get packing so we can leave right after hanging out with Sarah and Kit for a little while when they get home!
